This stress-reducing pose, or stress-inducing depending on your flexibility, is designed to strengthen your shoulders and improve your balance. Practice this pose enough, and you’ll be ready to spread your beautiful feathers to find that perfect mate.
Take your yoga up a notch, and twist those arms into a Twizzler. As you unwind, the sweat (and pounds) are certain to erupt off your body, as sure as Old Faithful is predictable!
The number five:
Anyone can make the number “1” — it takes real mind-over-matter to flex into the number 5. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, center your chakras, and balance on your kneecaps to capture this pose.
Doing just a few of these simple (and not doctor recommended) poses twice a day can lead to a more flexible you!
