If you have seen any of our other Behind the Scenes sections you are familiar with the animatic stage. This is where we lay out the gags and the timing for the whole video. Clearly they are not meant to be pretty (or even seen for that matter!) but we like to show the framework that the entire video gets built on.

You can see that as late as December 1, we still had major holes in the video and a massive amount of work ahead of us. But who says making a Year in Review videos is easy…
