Here’s yet another example of how cheesy and hacked together these sets actually were.  Once Evan built the set and got the piece framed in-camera Jeff helped rig up the arm so that Perseus could toss Medusa’s head.  Most JibJab collage work is heavily inspired by Terry Gilliam’s Monty Python work but this scene was VERY heavily inspired.  Thank you, Mr. Gilliam.
