This scene was short and sweet.  One of the two singing Mayans simply had to present his Google smartphone to the camera  for a quick gag before the big finale.  For such a quick animation, we like to use two different poses and sort of quickly animate between them fast enough to create the illusion of the character moving in 3D space.

The animation between the two poses already gets the idea across, but with a quick one-frame blurred in-between hand…

and with some anticipatory action before and after the transition, we’ve got a pretty convincing little scene!
