Chase, Home Depot, and Sony were the hardest hit this year by losing control of sensitive information from their clients as well as employees. While the movie Hackers was cool, getting hacked in real life is rough stuff. Perhaps 2015 will be the year we all go back to gold coins in burlap bags with $ on them, or perhaps the barter system… money under the mattress might be an idea that needs to make a comeback, actually.
