Designing celebrity characters is always a lot of fun, especially with the scandals that they were all part of. Romney designed the characters, Mike animated the scene. They tried a background of soft colors and discovered it was a bit jarring in the context of the short and the rest of the backgrounds, so they went with the solid red carpet.
