Where did we get those conning leprechauns for our Leprechaun Bailout video? Look no further than the JibJab offices! Here we have our two test subjects, employees Owen Waring and Corey Shiffman. Add a few freckles and throw in some red hair, and you’ve got that classic leprechaun look!
You’ve got to be careful around these offices, if you don’t look out, we’ll turn you into a leprechaun, an elf, who knows what! Take poor Ian Worrel here…

If you’ve ever wondered to yourself “who does those kickass Bush and McCain voices for JibJab?”, your wondering days are over. Meet Jim Meskimen, voice-over guy extraordinaire. Jim is the voice behind some of our biggest hits, including but not limited to This Land and Time for Some Campaignin’. Beyond that he’s given us the voice of Morgan Freeman for our Shawshank in a Minute rap and has repeatedly nailed a perfect Bill Clinton impression for our various political reviews. Of course, a man of such mythical talent can’t be restricted to one website alone, he’s been in everything from Avatar: The Last Airbender to Frost/Nixon. Wowee! We’re honored to hold such esteemed company in our hallowed halls. To hear Jim’s sweet, sweet vocal chords doing their thang, check out his personal voiceover site. Ooh, fancy!
Not everybody in the office at JibJab is a human being. Case-in-point, our beloved office pug Sammie. Sammie is a staple here at JibJab, he loves attention and if let loose will visit every desk in the office, run around in a few circles, then find the nearest trashcan and try to eat everything inside. It is for this reason that when Sammie enters a room, you’ll see people start to put their trash cans out of his reach. Sammie’s talents reach far and wide, he’s even an accomplished actor! In our drunken St. Patrick’s day rush we almost forgot to show off our latest in the way of baby eCards! We birthed this little guy just last week. Aww, he has our eyes! Go ahead and send this lil eCard to all those unsuspecting expecting parents out there, they’ll love it more than babies love pooping. And trust us, babies quite enjoy pooping.

Here at JibJab, any given moment in the day can go from tranquil web programming to all out inter office warfare. We have a small arsenal of Nerf guns at our disposal, with ammunition stationed at different locations all over the office. Of course, when you’ve got this much ammo flying about on a daily basis, you pick up a few tricks to avoid the sharp sting of suction cup. Joey here has been known to dodge foam bullets. Whoa.
When we need a face for one of our projects in a jiffy, we don’t spend much time casting. Instead we grab our nearest co-worker, force them out into the sun and claim their face for our website. Here our rockstar V.P. of Production Vaughn Morrison is pulled into the parking lot to star as a sailor in an upcoming JibJab piece. Oh and if you’re wondering who that handsome guy is diffusing the light, its none other than yours truely, official JibJab blogger Dan Milano.
Pardon us while we pimp the plushies of our in-house super-seamstress Trish Tatman. Usually Trish specializes in sewing sizeable 8 inch plushies, but for an upcoming JibJab project she whipped up these terrifically tiny little creatures. Use your own keyboard for scale and you’ll understand just how iddy biddy they are! Dah! So cute!
Amanda Rynda is one of our most fab artists on staff, constantly rocking the wacom tablet and giving us original creations of intense cuteness. We turn to her when we want to create a critter that’s beyond adorable, and she pulls through every time. Amanda is just another reason why our website is cuter than your website.
Word got around fast today that we were filming an Easter greeting with real live bunnies. In no time, our staff came rushing into the studio where the little fuzz balls were waiting, turning our little internet operation into a soft and fuzzy petting zoo. On this day, no bunny went uncuddled.
Last night had our technology wizards burning the midnight oil to ensure that tweaks to the site went live without a single glitch. As always, their hard work has delivered a fantastic array of site additions, like a front page link to this very blog! The JibJab Tech team always get the job done and for that we celebrate*!
Behold the face of talent. Or should we say the voice of talent? When we need some GREAT voices, we quite often call upon the mastery of Josh Thompson, best known for his killer Ahnold and DeNiro impressions. You’ll recognize his voice all over JibJab, and you might even recognize his face from our Frankenstein series! He laid down some sweet, sweet tracks in the studio yesterday so we snapped a pic for you to check out the face behind the voice, behind the glass!
On Wednesdays, tensions are high. People sit at their desks with their ears pricked, hoping to hear the high pitched clanging of a tambourine emanate from down the hall. Like the bells of an ice cream truck, the sound signifies that something amazing and fun is on it’s way to our office. This is no mere weekday… it is Wagon Wednesday!
The Wednesday Wagon is full of treats aimed at pushing us over the week’s hump (hehe, we said hump). Initiated by our Finance and HR guru Marianne Rubino, she ensures on a weekly basis that the wagon is stocked to the brim with sugary delights. Sure, there are a few bananas and plums thrown in there for good measure, but why would anyone care about that stuff?
